Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are starting a charity called the Richie Madden Children’s Foundation. Tey have turned their baby shower into the first fundraiser! Instead of guests bringing them gifts, Nicole Richie, 26 — who told Diane Sawyer, “I want my child to look up to me and be proud of me” — and the Good Charlotte rocker, 28, are asking pals to give cribs, strollers and stuffed animals to the new Richie Madden Children’s Foundation, which supports mothers in need.
Next month, their charity will also donate 100 Mom-to-Be kits to the Los Angeles Free Clinic!
